Do you feel overwhelmed with the literacy needs of your students with severe disabilities , including those with sensory impairments , and students who use augmentative and alternative communication? This one-day presentation addresses the needs of children ages 3-21 with significant cognitive impairments. Literacy assessment, locating appropriate reading materials, and helping students access them will be covered.
Caroline Musselwhite is an international speaker with extensive experience in research and development of literacy interventions for children who use augmentative and alternative communication, and who have significant disabilities, including those with
