Hello everyone,

I am at my Moblization Station at Camp Atterbury , Indiana . I have cleared all the medical and administrative stations and will departing for Afghanistan soon. We are staying busy and have a three-day field training exercise starting this weekend. Below is a photo of me at Ft. Riley in "Full Battle Rattle" just before firing a .50 cal machine gun from an up-armored hummer. If you haven't heard, that did not go so well and I received my battle scar early . I just wanted to get it out of the way so I would remain untouched, without a scratch, during the deployment.
